wherever you are in London.
Why should I choose GetTaxi?

on the map plus know exactly who your driver is and vehicle information. No cash? No problem,
just pay by card. You can also rate your driver, view previous journeys and earn Taxi Miles
towards free rides.
There must be extra costs and charges? What’s the catch?
Nothing. Nada. Zip. The GetTaxi is free to download and you’ll never pay a penny above the
meter. No credit card charges or nasty hidden extras plus you get 5 free minutes waiting time on
non-pre booked rides.
Is GetTaxi safe?
Absolutely. GetTaxi is the safest way to travel around London. 100%. We only ever use licensed
black taxis which are regulated by TfL and we meet with every single driver that signs up.
I left something in a GetTaxi taxi, how do I get it back?
All the details, including driver details, of your journeys are recorded in your app so you can
contact the driver. Our dispatch team are always available and in touch with all our drivers so
getting back your prized possession is never a problem.
Using the app
How can I register with GetTaxi?
Download the app and enter your mobile number. Once you’ve entered your information, you’re
ready to use GetTaxi. That’s it. Don’t forget to add your card details to your profile to avoid
making an un-scheduled pit-stop at the cashpoint.
What if I want to pre-book a taxi?
It’s simple. Go into your app, tap GetTaxi and set your pick up time and location. That’s it. We’ll
notify you when you taxi is on its way as well as the second it arrives at your destination.
Which smartphones can I download the GetTaxi app onto?
The GetTaxi app is available on iPhone, Blackberry and Android.
The app isn’t locating me. What do I do?
No worries. Just drag the GetTaxi dude across the screen to wherever you want to be picked up
from or enter the address. Confirm the address that is closest to your current location, click on
the address where you will be able to specify the exact street number.
Can I use GetTaxi from an iPad?
Sure. You can use and order a taxi from the app on your iPad in exactly the same way you do on
your smartphone.
Can I use GetTaxi outside of London?
Definitely. At the moment you can use the same GetTaxi app in Moscow and Israel. Look out for
GetTaxi in NYC coming soon.

What about all my information? Is it protected?
Definitely. We do absolutely everything within our power to protect your personal data. Once we
receive your information, we have the strictest procedures and strongest security features to
prevent any unauthorised access.
How do I pay for my cabs by card?
Make sure you have entered your card details under the ‘ME’ tab. When you tap GetTaxi, you will
be asked if you want to pay by ‘Cash’ or ‘Card’, tap ‘Card’. At the end of the ride enter
the amount according to the meter and pay with the card you’ve already registered.
What do I do if I have a coupon?
Just go to the ‘Me’ tab, click on ‘Promotional Code’ and enter your code. There’s nothing more to
it! Click ‘cash’ to order your ride, at the end your coupon amount will automatically be taken off
the fare and any remaining balance can be paid for with cash or card.
What if I need to speak to someone?
Tap on the ‘Me’ tab and scroll down the menu until you see the tab ‘Customer Care’. Our team
are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (yep – even Christmas day), tap
the button once and someone will be on the other end of the line to help out.
